Why Jews should NOT be proselytized!

The short answer to this question is:Those Jews who are considering recognizing and accepting the Messiah which Christianity proclaims, should consider that according to history and the New Testament,  he was an orthodox Jew, who upheld Halachic Judaism until his last day on earth.  Nowhere did he ever indicate that a new religion, like Christianity, totally diverse from and contrary to his own, would evolve.  To the contrary, he confirmed Halachic Judaism, the Oral Torah and the authority of the Rabbis very clearly in Matthew 23:2, Matthew 5 (entire chapter) and elsewhere. Whatever he proclaimed, came as a Jew from a Halachic Jewish background.  Why should a Jew then exchange Judaism for a religion which has accepted an orthodox Halachic Jew as their Messiah; a religion which through time, has been high-jacked, infiltrated and contorted with pagan concepts which them became known as ‘Christianity’?

In co-operation with Rabbi Feld,  co-founder of Kol HaTor, we we have published a book which points out the Halachic principles confirmed in the New Testament (NT).  The Church, in their total ignorance of Rabbinic wisdom, have interpreted these statements to be anti-Rabbinic, in this way rendering the NT as an anti-Jewish book.  Rabbi Feld, an erudite anti-Missionary and a Talmud teacher, has taken the trouble to analyze the NT for this confirmation which he clearly recognizes – though he does NOT accept the ‘Christian’ Messiah, neither does he accept the NT as authoritative.  He is merely quoting and commenting on its contents.

There would not have been a Christian Faith without the Jewish nation which has been appointed the Guardians of the Word of HaShem – the Torah and Tanach.  Even the New Testament confirms this Jewish Mandate in Romans 3:2.

The question now arises, whether Christianity, or Messianism in its broader context, has replaced the Divinely mandated Jewish Faith or not.

We are no doubt living in “The End Times” – as admitted even by scientists today. The international Doomsday Clock has just been forwarded to 5 minutes to 12.  The Prophecies of Torah and Tanach and The Jewish Sages wrote extensively about the End Times.  The very term ‘Redemption’ (Geulah) refers to the Return from exile and the reunification of the 12 Tribes into One Nation in what it terms “The End Time”,  to form the Elect of HaShem. So traumatic was the split of the 12-Tribed nation into 2 Houses, 8 centuries BCE, that HaShem withdrew His Shechinah Presence from Israel.  Scripture and logic tells us that He will not return, until Peace has been restored in His re-united House. This re-union was prophesied for the End Times when the Lost 10 Tribes would rediscover their Hebrew Roots and Return to Torah and to the Land, to re-unite with Judah.  This Return is now clearly evident, since the last decade.

Refer:

Since the sixties, a trend has became apparent: Small unrelated groups of  individualist Bible students and thinkers,  started extricating themselves from the Church to return to their Hebrew Roots by converting to Judaism and returning to the Land.  Today, it seems clear, that these were pioneer groups of the Great Return to come.  This has been proven by the fact that today, there is a tidal wave – millions of Messianic believers (ex Christians who are coming out of the Church in droves) who are following this same Route – back to Torah and back to the Land. Across the world, there are sincere non-Jewish Bible students who identify their Hebraic Torah Roots and who wish to identify closer with the Jewish People and Return to the Land of Israel.  The Jewish Sages have written much about this End Time phenomenon, with their deep insight into Scripture – where it is all foretold.

The Divine Purpose, as outlined in the Tanach, is to re-identify and to bring the 10 Tribes BACK to the One True Faith, Judaism, as maintained and guarded by Judah (the Jews) throughout the ages (not excluding great neglect as part of the package!),  to re-unite the Lost (pagan infected) Tribes with Judah, to HEAL the ancient split and to bring back the Shechinah Glory of HaShem.

For Jews to convert to Messianism, is to go exactly against this Divinely ordained Prophetic Stream.

So what then is the Purpose of the Messiah proclaimed by Messianism?

The Jewish Sages foresaw TWO Messiah’s;

  • Messiah ben Yosef and
  • Messiah ben David.

Hebraic Restoration Messianic commentators today claim, that  Jesus (Y’Shuah) was Mashiach ben Yosef, who will come the 2nd time as Mashiach ben David – the Ruling King in the Kingdom of HaShem.  As such, they claim, his Divine Mandate as Messiah  ben Yosef was to reconcile the Lost 10 Tribes of Israel with the Covenant from which they had been cut off 2800 years ago, and exiled from Northern Israel.

The Kol Ha Tor Project has been named after the title of the writings of the Gaon of Vilna, a famous Jewish Sage (1740 CE), who claimed Divine Insight into the Final Preparation of the Restored Kingdom of Israel, re-united in Peace, in the ‘footsteps of Mashiach ben Yosef’.

A Hard copy of the book (a MUST for the collection of all serious 10-Tribe students) is also available for order from amazon.com

According to modern Hebraic Restoration Interpretation, the 10 Tribes were ‘divorced’ and rejected from the Covenant by God,  Messiah ben Yosef’s main Mandate would be to reconcile them back into Covenant and with Judah, to finally establish the Re-United 12-Tribed Kingdom of Israel over which Messiah ben David will reign at his Coming.  Judah, however, has never been divorced (de-covenanted)  by HaShem  and therefore does not need the Covenantal reconciliation without which 10-Israel would be doomed for eternity. The apostle Paul, it is claimed, acted contrary to his Divine Mandate to go to “the lost sheep of the House of Israel”, by insisting to ‘go to the Jew first’:

The problem is, that when Jews accept the ‘Christian’ Messiah, they turn to some or other form of pagan influenced Christianity or Messianism, because they are dependant on Christian anti-Torah and/or anti-Rabbinic literature.  This also applies to even the furthest advanced Hebraic Messianic Group in the Return to their Roots today – for unless they have returned to Judaism fully by conversion, they mostly are still bound by some of the many pagan infected principles from which they are busy extricating themselves.

If Hebraic Messianic interpreters are correct, in that Messiah ben Yosef (Jesus, Y’Shuah) came to reconcile 10-Israel with the Covenant and to bring them back into the One True Faith, with Judaism, and into the Land, then there is a very applicable Parable in the New Testament which confirms the Return of “The Prodigal son”, returning to his heritage (Luke 13). Accordingly, there truly seems to be no reason whatsoever for Jews to relinquish their Jewish Faith, as it is the Prodigal Son who has to return to his heritage which had been retained by the faithful remaining son, while the Prodigal sank to the pits of paganism, depicted by his sojourning in the pig sties.

Trusting that this will assist the Divine Cause of bringing Peace to Zion; Peace between the estranged 2 Houses of Israel.

  1. “Judah, however, has never been rejected and therefore does not need the Covenantal reconciliation without which 10-Israel would be doomed for eternity.”.

    That statement is not true!

If you examine both Deuteronomy and the last 2000 years of recorded history in regards to the tribe of Judah the below has most certainly occurred. It is Gods written word that has come true upon the Jews. This has been the circumstance starting in 70ad.

    Deuteronomy 28:64
“And YHVH will certainly scatter you among all the peoples from the one end of the earth to the other end of the earth, and there you will have to serve other gods whom you have not known, neither you nor your forefathers, wood and stone.”

Your statement above reveals that Jews have still not yet come to terms with their errors.

So how can you expect a Christian to believe you?

    1. You are correct, Geoffrey. I used the wrong word “rejected’ rather than “de-covenanted”. The article has now been edited and corrected to conform with our other articles on the topic. The rest of our writings confirm this. The facts are that the House of Israel (Northern 10 Tribes) have been divorced by HaShem, cut off from the Covenant, exiled into oblivion and loss of Identity – with the Divine Oath though, that He would Return her and accept back His harlot Bride in the End Times. The House of Judah (Jews) were also exiled, twice, for “being worse than your sister” – BUT, He never divorced her, which is the difference. This is comprehensively discussed here: https://www.kolhator.com/adultery-the-real-cause-for-the-divorce-of-10-israel/ and https://www.kolhator.com/did-god-divorce-the-house-of-10-israel/
