Six13 – Starting Over (a song for Rosh Hashanah)

Shiloh– Composed and performed by Neil Diamond.
Neil Diamond is a Jewish soul.
The word and concept ‘Shiloh’ appears in the Bible at Genesis 49:10, as part of a series of prophecies about the future End Time Events that Jacob pronounced for each of his twelve sons, who were the Patriarchs of the 12 Tribes of Israel. He said that his fourth son Judah will always have the Sceptre (a symbol of kingship or judicial authority) until Shiloh comes, to Whom all people will be obedient and Who would rule over the Nations. Shiloh has been interpreted widely by different commentators. The name, meaning either “he whose it is” or “he who is to be sent (as a gift),” would be a fitting name for Neil Diamond’s song character’s steadfast friend.
This unknown ‘friend’ who was always faithful to Neil, even when his beloved girlfriend left him, is typified by the mysterious unknown Biblical Figure who became known as “The Mashiach.’ As in Neil’s lyrics, this faithful ‘Friend’ behind the scene becomes replaced for the searching soul by loving partners in life, though temporal. Shiloh keeps returning, pleading – the eternal faithful Friend, though generally elusive and unfound by the seeking soul. In his yearning for this faithful friend, Neil’s lyrics are typically true of mankind – even for Bible-believing mankind. As such, “he whose it is,” Shiloh, shall come to His own People, as such qualifying them for rulership over the Nations, with Him and as Himself. THIS is the Supreme Reward for His Own, those who accept Him. Yet so elusive, almost beyond recognition and acceptance for most believers in the Scriptures.
Shiloh, Come now – to me! All for the acceptance!
This may be the inspiration behind this illusive Target – Shiloh.
Neil Diamond’s lyrics for ‘Shiloh.’
Shiloh, when I was young.
I used to call your name.
When no one else would come
Shilo, you always came.
And we’d play
Young girl with fire,
Something said she understood.
I wanted to fly,
She made me feel like I could.
Held my hand out, and I let her take me.
Blind as a young child with dreams.
Dream ev’ry dream on your own
When children play.
Seems like you end up alone.
Papa says he’d love to be with you,
If he had the time.
So you turn on the only friend you can find
There in your mind.
All I saw was the way that she made me smile,
She made me smile.
Shilo, when I was young.
I used to call you name.
When no one else would come,
Shilo, you always came.
And you’d stay:
Had a dream, and it filled me with wonder.
She had other plans
“Got to go, and I know that you’ll understand.”
I understand
Shilo, when I was young.
I used to call you name.
When no one else would come
Shilo, Come Today!
…. Come Today!
….. Come to me.
Shiloh, Come now – to me! All for the acceptance!
(The Theme Plea of Kol Hator Vision)
This may be the inspiration behind this illusive Target – Shiloh.

It’s your inheritance.
It’s yours; it’s yours.
It’s your inheritance.
The head, not the tail.
Above, not beneath.
A lender, not a borrower.
Get your inheritance.
