The Biblical confirmation of the Identity of ‘The Servant of G-d’
holds a bold Reawakening Message
for both Judaism and Christianity.
These Divine Clues given in the Scriptures
take on renewed meaning in the light of
the current World wide Phenomenon
of a historic first ever – a Torah Revolution amongst non-Jews.
It holds exuberant implications for
the approaching End-Time Geulah.
In addition, this Scriptural identificaation of “The Servant of G-d” also sheds revealing Light on the mystic Identity of the often mentioned Figure of “The Son of Man”. It is now becoming clear that “The Servant of G-d” and “The Son of Man” is one and the same Figure. This understanding will also shed Light on the true Identity of the mystic Personage of the Messiah – a term which almost never is used explicitly for such a Personage in Scripture.
Though Jewish Sages applied the terms of “The Srvant of G-d” and “The Son of Man” to ‘the Nation of Israel’, the term has not generally been applied or understood for its real implications. Christianity on the other hand, has applied these terms to their New Testament Messiah. Both these interpretations seem to have missed the great exuberant Blessing which underlies its proper application as revealed by the Hebrew Scriptures. It is only due to the recent development of a unique World-wide Phenomenon, that this exalted Divine Intention for Humanity which underlies this Mystic Figure is becoming clear. The concurrent Great Blessing that goes with it is now also becoming clear.for those who will understand, accept and follow it through to the Final Redemption, the Geulah (which it is intrinsically part of),

So WHO is this “Servant of G-d” and “the Son of Man” really?
Christianity has interpreted this designation of ‘Servant of G-d’ to apply to and validate the Messiah of the New Testament whom they profess will come a second time – in the ‘End of Days’ – to rule over the nations in fulfillment of God’s Promise to David of an ‘eternal Throne’. In the process, they have totally missed the Blessing awaiting those who strive to follow the Creator implicitly by doing away with the very obligations for these souls for earning them this Eternal Blessing – by nullifying and doing away with the entire Divine Requirement of Torah observance by His People. And they dare to place this nullification of the foundational Divine requirement on their ‘Messiah’ Whom they profess to follow.
Jewish interpretations similarly miss out totally on the reality of the true Blessing awaiting this Body of conquering souls whom HaShem is preparing to become the ‘Living Mishkan’ (Temple) through which He will rule over the Nations, by transferring these Blessings to a future ‘Messiah’, the features and identifications of Whom do not match the True Identification as presented in Scripture regarding this ‘Servant’ of HaShem. This is a recipe for missing the entire Blessing that is install for those who understand and comply with their ‘Servant’ obligation – which we will analyze further down in this review.
Let us now allow the Scriptures to define this “Servant of G-d” whom the Almighty is preparing for the ultimate Cause. There are nine consecutive chapters in the book of Isaiah – from ch. 40 to 49, presenting comprehensive and detailed evidence and clues as to the true Identity of this Being or Personage. These identifications have become meaningfully evident only at this current era of virtual evidence popping up all over the entire World regarding the Dry Bones Skeleton of Esekiel 37 regaining Life and the Spirit of HaShem: i.e. the long promised re-identification and required return of ‘reborn’ Ephraim (the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel).
Isaiah 42
| 1 Behold My Servant, whom I uphold; My Chosen in whom My soul delights; I have put My Spirit upon him, he shall bring forth Justice to the Gentiles (nations). |
5 Thus saith G-d HaShem, He that created the heavens,
……. |
ו אֲנִי יְהוָה קְרָאתִיךָ בְצֶדֶק, וְאַחְזֵק בְּיָדֶךָ; וְאֶצָּרְךָ, וְאֶתֶּנְךָ לִבְרִית עָם–לְאוֹר גּוֹיִם | 6 I HaShem have called thee in righteousness, and have taken hold of thy hand, and kept thee, and set thee for a Covenant of the people, for a Light of the nations; |
Those who wish to apply this to ‘A Messiah’ should realize that the term ‘Mashiach’ appears nowhere in these or any other of the Scriptures as referring to such a Special Being.
This same theme continues in the next chapter 43, where this same Servant is addressed by the Almighty as His Witness and Servant (v.10) and several positive attributes are defined for him.
But how can the following Divine declaration about this Witness and Servant of His be reconciled with this illustrious Messianic Figure, when HaShem clearly states in the same breath in this chapter:
יט מִי עִוֵּר כִּי אִם-עַבְדִּי, וְחֵרֵשׁ כְּמַלְאָכִי אֶשְׁלָח; מִי עִוֵּר כִּמְשֻׁלָּם, וְעִוֵּר כְּעֶבֶד יְהוָה. | 19. Who is blind like My Servant and deaf like My Messenger whom I send? Who is blind like the restored one, blind like the Servant of HaShem? |
| 20 You have seen many things, but you do not heed it; your ears are open, but you do not listen.” |
And again, in chapter 45, referring to this same Servant, it is confirmed:
Chapter 44 through 48 continue with the same theme and features the awakening amongst “Jacob and Israel”, His Servant.
Clear Definition of ‘His Servant’
Then follows the Revelation about this Servant being His Nation, in:
Isaiah chapter 49:
| 3 And He said unto me: ‘Thou art My Servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.’ |
ה וְעַתָּה אָמַר יְהוָה, יוֹצְרִי מִבֶּטֶן לְעֶבֶד לוֹ, לְשׁוֹבֵב יַעֲקֹב אֵלָיו, וְיִשְׂרָאֵל לא (לוֹ) יֵאָסֵף; וְאֶכָּבֵד בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה, וֵאלֹהַי הָיָה עֻזִּי | 5 And now HaShem has decided— the One who formed me from the womb as His Servant – to restore Jacob [12-Israel] to G-d, so that Israel might return to Him. Moreover, I’m honored in HaShem’s eyes; my G-d has become my Srength. |
| 6. He [HaShem] has said, “It is not enough that you are merely my Servant to raise up the [12] Tribes of Ya‘akov and restore the offspring of Israel. I will also make you a Light to the nations, so My Salvation can spread to the ends of the earth.” |
The rest of Isaiah ch. 49 then spells out various further confirmations that the ‘Servant of HaShem’ is not ‘The Messiah’ but His very People who wake up to and adhere to His Calling to become His Light unto the Nations, through whom He would rule in His Universal Kingdom when He returns His Presence (Shechinah) to Jerusalem after He removed His Presence from there at the Time of the destruction of the 1st Temple (Ezekiel 10). These Body of People, Israelites, will therefore reflect the Loving Heart of the Father of Creation for His Created beings – all of them who yield to Truth – but especially to the Lost and Captive Children of Israel (Ref. The Lost and Captive Jewish Child and their Return to Jewish identity and the Land of Israel )
Is it conceivable that the Messiah would not have known the One and Only True Good? Surely, this ‘Servant ‘ defined here in 9 consecutive chapters of Isaiah cannot refer to a ‘righteous Messiah’ as depicted by Christianity?
Jews are faced here with the Divine indictment (if this indeed refers to them as His Nation) that they (including the teachers and spiritual leaders of Judaism who surely are in then front of the queue for complying) are “Blind and deaf!“ Really? Read on …
Let us consult the Scriptures itself for –
Defining the ‘Blind and deaf Servant of G-d who knew Him not’
Isaiah 41: 8-9
Verse 6 of Isa. 42 starts the identification of the Servant whom He is creating for the End Time Final Redemption – referred to by both Judaism and Christianity as “Coming of the Messiah” – though nowhere in the Scriptures thus defined:
6 “I, HaShem, have called thee in righteousness, and have taken hold of thy hand, and kept thee, and set thee for a Covenant of the people, for a Light of the nations”
This undoubtedly is speaking of His Covenant Nation. We find more evidence in the next chapter:
This is the One that He then addresses in verse 10 as ‘His Servant’. Clearly from the context here, it refers to the 12 Tribes of Israel, the House of Jacob.
The chapter continues this identification:
ה אַל-תִּירָא, כִּי אִתְּךָ-אָנִי: מִמִּזְרָח אָבִיא זַרְעֶךָ, וּמִמַּעֲרָב אֲקַבְּצֶךָּ. | 5 Fear not, for I am with thee; I will bring thy seed from the East, and gather thee from the West; |
| 6 I will say to the North: ‘Give up,’ and to the South: ‘Keep not back, bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the end of the earth; |
| 7 Every one that is called by My name, and whom I have created for My Glory, I have formed him, yea, I have made him.’ |
Clearly, His Covenant People – all 12 Tribes to be regathered from the 4 corners of the Earth. Verse 8 repeats the ch. 42 Statement by HaShem in which He defines them as the blind and deaf who will now hear and see. They, who became the regathering exiles.
This 12-Tribed regathered Nation will be His Witness and His Servant to serve as ‘A Light unto the Nations’ to ultimately rule with Him in His Universal Kingdom. As He prepares His Servant to gather the exiles from the 4 corners; as they start seeing, hearing and understanding; as they start yielding to His indwelling Spirit to gather the Lost and Captive Children of Israel from amongst the Nations. In this way, this ‘Servant’ will act as ‘The Messiah’ upon whom the gathering of the Exiles has been laid by the traditional interpretation of these Scriptures. Through them, this Servant, His Spirit imbued people, HaShem will achieve His Purpose – viz. for them to become the ‘Tabernacle’ that He wishes to dwell in amongst His People.
What were they blinded for? – What will they testify?
| 21 The People which I formed for Myself, that they might tell of My Praise. |
Hidden in thes 9 chapters is an important guidance indicator for this ‘Servant in the making in the End Time. It underlies the factor for which they were blind and deaf. Their release from this status would be for the Glory of HaShem, for they will testify to and “tell of His Praise.” This would have to be a restoration that affects both sides, Judah and the Lost House of 10-Israel, leading to a communal Testimony to His Glory.
Even a casual observance of the friction between the two sides which obstructs reconciliation is the topic of “the Messiah.” Christianity, which houses a great part of the Lost House of 10-Israel amongst the nations, subjects to the same Bible – but has added a new part to it – all about their “Messiah”. Interpretations of who he really is and his relationship to the G-d of the Hebrew part of the Bible, differ most widely across dozens of contradicting teachings. Jewish interpretation of “their Messiah” whom they are waiting for, shows much the same lack of clear insight of their Messiah’s identity and his relationship to G-d. Strangely – and neither side will really admit this – the original Hebrew Scriptures do not even use the term “Mashiach” for this mysterious figure who draws so much attention next to the Creator G-d.
Can this be what HaShem refers to in His appraisal of the “blindness and deafness” of His Winess whom He is preparing from BOTH Houses in this End Time round-up to the Geulah (the Final Redemption and establishment of His Universal Kingdom ruled by this AServant of His)?
Consider this remarkable pointer given in these 9 chapters regarding this Witness. Only in this section of Scripture, nowhere else does HaShem repeatedly confirm in each of the 9 chapters emphasizing that He and “He Alone is the Saviour and Only God.” Exclusive terms, most of which are only used in these 9 chapters in all the Tanach (O.T.). As if to correct this blind Servant that He is NOT a dual or multi-personage God and that there is NO other Saviour apart from Him! Can this be a Reprimand directed at the Servant part who proclaims “A Son of G-d” or “A Ruling Messiah” who is NOT this One True G-d making these claims these 9 chapters? And if anyone concludes that this refers to the NT Messianics only, then think again! Judaism which earnestly awaits “The Coming of Mashiach” equally protests vehemently against any suggestion that this Mashiach will or can be HaShem Himself!
Now consider these pointers themselves:
Isaiah 40:18
18 To whom then will ye liken God? Or what likeness will ye compare unto Him? |
25 To whom then will ye liken Me, that I should be equal? saith the Holy One. |
Isaiah 41:4
ד מִי-פָעַל וְעָשָׂה, קֹרֵא הַדֹּרוֹת מֵרֹאשׁ: אֲנִי יְהוָה רִאשׁוֹן, וְאֶת-אַחֲרֹנִים אֲנִי-הוּא | 4 Who hath wrought and done it? He that called the generations from the beginning. I, the LORD, who am the first, and with the last am the same. |
Isaiah 42:8
8 I am HaShem, that is My Name; and My Glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images. |
Isaiah 43:10,11
י אַתֶּם עֵדַי נְאֻם-יְהוָה, וְעַבְדִּי אֲשֶׁר בָּחָרְתִּי: לְמַעַן תֵּדְעוּ וְתַאֲמִינוּ לִי וְתָבִינוּ, כִּי-אֲנִי הוּא–לְפָנַי לֹא-נוֹצַר אֵל, וְאַחֲרַי לֹא יִהְיֶה | 10 Ye are My witnesses, saith HaShem, and My Servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me there was no God formed, neither shall any be after Me. |
11 I, even I, am HaShem; and beside Me there is no Saviour. |
Isaiah 44:6,8
ו כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה מֶלֶךְ-יִשְׂרָאֵל וְגֹאֲלוֹ, יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת: אֲנִי רִאשׁוֹן וַאֲנִי אַחֲרוֹן, וּמִבַּלְעָדַי אֵין אֱלֹהִים | 6 Thus saith HaShem, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer HaShem of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and beside Me there is no God. |
ח … 8 …. And ye are My witnesses. Is there a God beside Me? Yea, there is no Rock; I know not any. |
Isaiah 45:15, 21 – 25
15 Verily Thou art a God that hidest Thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. |
Isaiah 46:5
| 5 To whom will ye liken Me, and make Me equal, and compare Me, that we may be like? |
Isaiah 47:4
4 Our Redeemer, HJaShem of Hosts is His Name, The Holy One of Israel. |
Isaiah 48:11,12
Isaiah 49:26 – the concluding text of this “Servant” Section seals it all in His Purpose!
26 … and all flesh shall know that I HaShem am thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. |
The Glorious Promise to His People fulfilled – to become …
Yosef, the Family Restorer – to be bowed down to
The 4 weekly Bible Readings (Parashiyot) from Gen. 37 – 50, every year overflows with Rabbinic commentaries all featuring Yosef as the Family Restorer. Yosef was rejected by his brothers for his dreams about them bowing down before him’ He was sold into slavery but was risen to become a King of Egypt. He used all his military genius to regather and reconcile the divided Family of Israel. In this, the Bible records of Genesis about Yosef present a library of insights into the Final Redemption and Restoration of re-united 12-Israel through the regathering and reconciliation of the 12-Tribed Nation of Israel after nearly 3000 years of a venomous Family Feud. It thus transpires that the metaphor of Yosef also applies to this “Servant of HaShem”, the End Time Family Restorer.
Isa. 49:7 – Kings and Princes of nations will come to prostrate themselves before His Holy One (the reunited and restored 12 Tribed Nation of Israel) who have been for millennia “despised and abhorred by the nations”. In context with the rest of Prophetic scripture, this will occur after the Final Redemption (Geulah). After the conclusion of a ‘New Covenant’ with His People by which they will become imbued with His Spirit fully – Jer. 3:16; Jer. 31; Ezek. 37:26; Ezek. 11:19; Ezek. 36:27; Ezek. 34:24; Ezek. 39:29) at a Time when HaShem will rule through them over the Nations in His Universal Kingdom
Isa. 49:8, “I will preserve thee, and give thee for a Covenant of the people, to raise up the Land, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;”
Isa. 49:10 They shall not hunger nor thirst, neither shall the heat nor sun smite them; for He that hath compassion on them will lead them, even by the springs of water will He guide them.”
Isa. 49:12 “Behold, these shall come from far; and, lo, these from the North and from the West, and these from the land of Sinim. 13 Sing, O heavens, and be joyful, O earth, and break forth into singing, O mountains; for HaShem hath comforted His people, and hath compassion upon His afflicted.”
Isa. 49:14 “But Zion said, ‘HaShem has forsaken me, HaShem has forgotten me.’ 15 ‘Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”
Isa. 49:18 “Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee [My Servant]. As I live, saith HaShem, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all as with an ornament, and gird thyself with them, like a bride.”
Isa. 49:19 “Though you were ruined and made desolate and your land laid waste, now you will be too small for your people.”
Isa. 49:20 “The children of thy bereavement shall yet say in thine ears: ‘The place is too small for me; give place to me that I may dwell.’”
Isa. 49:22 “Thus saith the Lord HaShem: Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations, and set up Mine ensign to the peoples, and they shall bring thy sons in their bosom, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.”
Isa. 49:23 “And kings shall be thy foster-fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers; they shall bow down to thee with their face to the earth, and lick the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am HaShem, for they shall not be ashamed that wait for Me.”
Isa. 49:26 “And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine; and all flesh shall know that I HaShem am thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
There are those who may yet contend that this latter part is not in context and does refer to ‘The Messiah’. However, verse 3 and 5 sets the tone of addressing ‘His Servant’.
| 5 And now HaShem has decided— the One who formed me from the womb as His Servant – to restore Jacob [12-Israel] to G-d, so that Israel might return to Him. Moreover, I’m honored in HaShem’s eyes; my G-d has become my Srength. |
For those who are still not convinced that the Nation of Israel, G-d’s People, are truly His Servant whom He is preparing for the Ingathering of the exiles from all 12 Tribes amongst the nations, here is yet another clear confirmation by he Prophet DanielL
One like “The Son of Man”
Daniel chapter 7 presents yet another confirmation which, just like the “Servant of G-d” has been overlooked and misconstrued by both Christian Messianics and the spiritual leaders of Judaism.:
Daniel 7
| 13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of man, and he came even to the Ancient of days, and he was brought near before Him. |
This same chapter confirms who this “Son” is, yet few interpreters quote this Scriptural confirmation. Let us read it straight from the Scriptures when it explains what this Son receivd from the Ancient of Days:
יד וְלֵהּ יְהִב שָׁלְטָן, וִיקָר וּמַלְכוּ, וְכֹל עַמְמַיָּא אֻמַּיָּא וְלִשָּׁנַיָּא, לֵהּ יִפְלְחוּן; שָׁלְטָנֵהּ שָׁלְטָן עָלַם, דִּי-לָא יֶעְדֵּה, וּמַלְכוּתֵהּ, דִּי-לָא תִתְחַבַּל. {פ} | 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. |
Daniel was greatly disturbed and wanted to know what the interpretation of this vision was (verse 15) and then he was given the interpretation (verse 16):
יח וִיקַבְּלוּן, מַלְכוּתָא, קַדִּישֵׁי, עֶלְיוֹנִין; וְיַחְסְנוּן מַלְכוּתָא עַד-עָלְמָא, וְעַד עָלַם עָלְמַיָּא. | 18 the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’ |
We find yet further confirmation of this “Son of Man” referring to a Group rather than to a specific individual which most Jewish and Christian commentators apply to as “A Messiah”.
Psalm 80 about the “Son of Man”
| Let Thy hand be upon the man of Thy right hand, upon the son of man whom Thou madest strong for Thyself |
And of the stock (vine) which Thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that Thou madest strong for Thyself |
It (this vinw, the Man at His Right Hand) is burned with fire, it is cut down; THEY perish at the rebuke of Thy countenance |
Jeremiah’s End Time Confirmation
Jeremiah 3:14-18 “Return, faithless people,” declares HaShem, “for I am your Husband. I will choose you – one from a town and two from a clan – and bring you to Zion. Then I will give you shepherds after My own Heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding. In those days, when your numbers have increased greatly in the land,” declares HaShem, “men will no longer say, ‘The Ark of the Covenant of HaShem.’ It will never enter their minds or be remembered; it will not be missed, nor will another one be made. At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of HaShem, and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of HaShem. No longer will they follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts. In those days the House of Judah will join the House of Israel, and together they will come from a northern land to the land I gave your forefathers as an inheritance..”
Conclusion – awe-inspiring Revelation of the High Calling of His Servant
This “Son of Man” then is the One who in the concluding End Time Event of the Final Redemption (Geulah) receives the Rulership of the Eternal Universal Kingdom. This iis the elevated Position that G-d has been preparing “His Servant” for; the One that will become the Living Tabernacle for G-d to dwell in amongst His People.
From this we can expound further, that:
- this “Son” will become the One whom G-d will imbue fully with His Spirit under a ‘New’ Covenant (Jer. 31:31; Jer. 3:16; Ezek. 37:26; Ezek. 11:19; Ezek. 36:27; Ezek. 34:24; Ezek. 39:29);
- thus becoming Living Torah’s to be a ‘Light unto the Nations’;
- perfected “in His Image” – becoming G-d (Elohim) themselves!
Far fetched!? Absurd? Blasphemous? – Read what The Scriptures say:
At the end of this dispensation, when God Himself will intervene in the Final cataclysmic War of Gog Magog protecting His Covenant nation Israel from total annihilation in the attack on Jerusalem by all nations, Zechariah concludes:
Zechariah 12:8
8 In that day shall HaShem defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that that is weak among them at that day shall be [strong] as David; and the House of David shall be like God, like the Angel of HaShem leading them. |
At this Time He will establish His Kingdom, after the Final Judgment having appointed His ‘Servant’ as Ruler over the Nations – after He has imbued them fully with His Spirit, fulfilling His Original Intention of creating man in His Image.
Psal 82:6
| 6 I said: Ye are godlike beings, and all of you sons of the Most High. |
Closing Plea
This should serve as a Wake Up Call to both the striding Houses of Israel, to adhere to His Call for Reconciliation and Restoration of His 12-Tribed Kingdom. This calls for uniting the multi-millions of estranged Israelites across the Globe – descendants of the Lost Children of Judah and the House of 10-Israel defined as “blind and deaf, not knowing he One Only True Creator God.”
