USA Rousing Accolade to Yosef on his Birthday coinciding with the US Birthday
Thur. July 4, 2019 (1 Tammuz, 5779) – was the commemoration of the Birth of Yosef in Mesopotamia, 6 years before his family returned to the Land of Israel.
This is also the ‘4th July Birthday’ commemoration of the USA Independence 243 years ago. Yosef is the great metaphoric figure working for the Reconciliation of the divided House of Israel, for the Final Redemption predicted in the Bible. This movement towards restoration and reconciliation has been revealing itself over the last 2 decades through a unique Phenomenon of millions of non-Jews, worldwide, turning towards Jewish Torah principles, closer relations with Jews and Israel and even an increasing urge by these restorers to emigrate to the Land of Israel. We should have a great commemoration in Yosef’s honour at this momentous time in history! Please share with us the following remarkable observations that this day of commemoration has brought us this year (2019).
We are witnessing the birth pangs of this Restoration all over the World today. This Birthday commemoration, 4 July 2019 of Yosef, echoed by the USA current leadership’s clear re-awakening to their national and spiritual calling, was a clear inspiration for those who are aware of the Divine Calling and Purpose of the Creator, the God of Israel, for mankind. This may signal the first signs of the arising of a major force in the world, imbued with the spirit of a reconciliatory Yosef, to bring universal awareness of the Divine Purpose and Intention to Bring Peace to the World through a reunited Torah observant nation, regathered from exile amongst the nations – to serve as ‘A Light to the Nations.’ Many Bible prophecy commentators have been regarding the USA as ‘Yosef’ – the Biblical metaphor for the reconciler of the Lost 10 Tribes (referred to as ‘The House of Israel’ in the Bible) with the House of Judah.
Volumes are written about Yosef in Rabbinic literature, especially around the time of the Parashot of the final chapters of Genesis. Yosef, in short, was the Reconciler of the 12-Tribed Family of Ya’acov. As such he also is the paradigm for the Messiah ben Yosef (MbY) who according to Rabbinic interpretation, will bring the Israel exiles Home (ref. Gaon of Vilna writings, Kol Hator) for the Final Redemption. This, our Jewish Sages contemplated, will go through 3 great wars in which MbY will be the Warrior. Then Mashiach ben David will take the Rule. World War 1 and 2 may well have been the forerunners of the expected major 3rd War of Gog Magog (a.k.a. Armageddon).
This is a great and mysterious, deeply veiled topic – with many theological commentators in the World, as also ourselves, entangled in unravelling the Mystery of the much-predicted End Time in the Bible. Many Bible believers who have become aware of this hidden but now gradually revealing Topic, are trying to reconcile the Broken Family of the 2 much-divided sectors of Israel, i.e. Judah (Jews) and the Lost 10 Tribes of the ‘House of Israel’. In this way, these reconcilers are probably part of the collective body and spirit of Yosef as MbY – yet, in no way eliminating the existence of the Real MbY. It probably is a topic where Angels fear to tread – while we humans can become very self-confident in our expectations. The question remains: Who and Where is this MbY – especially as it is quite evident that this awakening and restoration is well in process. And while some of us may be convinced that they have the answer, they should wake up to the great destruction that their rendering of such a MbY is causing amongst the total embodiment of God’s People.
The conclusion of Kol Hator Vision (KHT), for what it may be worth, is that the conflict between the two Houses of Israel on this topic of MbY is due to the total misconception that BOTH Houses hold about this mysterious Figure and His True Identity. MbY, after all, is there for ONE Purpose only: i.e. to reconcile the two sides in Peace. He leaves that part to us to resolve this Riddle – so, all we can and should do, is to handle it with great consideration, humility and respect towards each side and the concepts that they may hold – UNTIL HE reveals Himself.
“Christians expect the Lamb but will be shocked to meet the Lion“. It will be contrary to their expectations – just as their expectations that Judah ‘must’ accept their NT Messiah are flawed in the format that they present of their Messiah. The ‘Church’ format of the NT Messiah they have commonly interpreted throughout the last 2000 years is totally unacceptable to Jews. Add to this the reality that when Jews do accept the NT Messiah, they separate themselves from the Jewish Family with a superiority complex – imagining that they are now ‘saved’ and exalted. They then join ‘Messianic Jewish’ congregations that are Churches as much as they may outwardly seem to be synagogues. Fact is they do NOT worship in Jewish synagogues. Even if they may not reject Halacha – they become anti-Rabbinic. And most damaging of all, they try and influence Jews to join their separateness. This creates Division – fatal Division. We live with it here in Israel. We recognize it in the ‘testimony’ of NT Messianics who regard themselves as spiritually superior to the ‘carnal’ (according to their estimation) Jews. This superiority notion and the expectations which go with the signs of promise which are envisaged by this Messianic faction, of course, stimulates the expectations of the promoters of division and ’exalted’ separateness.
Expectations are almost impossible to change in people. The problem is that they act according to their expectations and in this case, they promote their expectations along a One-Way street that leads to Division rather than Unity. Of course, they thrive on and expect that Jews will eventually dump their Torah Judaism and unite under their Messianic Banner. This is where the Lion of Judah will surprise and wake them up. All this does not negate the possibility that there may be an unknown number of Jews, even Rabbis, who do accept a Torah-adjusted concept of an anointed Restorer of the Family Breach, to bring exiled 10-Israel back into Covenant. Only HaShem knows of them for they preserve the UNITY under the Mechoqeck Guidance of Judah until Shiloh turns up – when BOTH Houses will be surprised and stand ashamed for their division creating beliefs and actions against each other. HaShem requires UNITY under Him Alone!
Re-awakening and re-identifying 10-Israel today, as the ‘exiled Yoseph’ in the Scriptures, have to qualify themselves properly in order for their brothers in Israel to reach that prophesied point of jealousy towards them. This could come about through the impact that thousands of non-missionizing Halachic (Torah) practising Ten Tribers (Ephraimites) would have on Jews in Israel! – not by their verbal testifying to Y’Shuah their proclaimed Messiah, but, by their explicit following in His footsteps and Commands to live a Halachically Jewish life which would drive religious and non-religious Jews to admit their (Yoseph’s) spiritual ‘lordship’.
This calls for a timely reminder though, to that arm-chair Christian spirit which will want to ‘wait on God’ to be showered with His Miracle final conclusion without the need for them to move one inch from the comfort of the armchairs. Yoseph, through deep trials and achievements ranging over many years, had to build up his position from entering the land of Egypt as a slave for sale, to becoming the acting governor of Egypt, managing and controlling the food stores in a world of famine – which brought his brothers from the Covenant Land to Egypt for food purchases in order to survive. The overturning act of God did not fall in their laps – it took years of active preparation by Yoseph – the one chosen to ‘lord his brothers’ (as suggested in his dreams that earned him rejection by his brothers – before they offered themselves as his ‘slaves’.
The Paradigm which this metaphorical Body and spirit of Yosef (as also MBY) should strive for, is outlined by the Prophet Ezekiel in his description of the Final Redemption as follows:

Ezek. 37:23 “They (the 12-tribed nation re-united) shall no longer defile themselves any more with their idols (trinities, 2 Gods, dualism, compound unities, etc), nor with their detestable things (Xmas, Sunday worship, Lord’s suppers, etc) nor with any of their transgressions (Torah trespasses) but I (HaShem) will save them out of all their dwelling places in which they have sinned and will cleanse them – so shall they be My People and I will be their God … they shall also walk in My Ordinances (Torah Laws – Chokim) and observe My Statutes and perform them. And they shall dwell in the Land which I have given to My Servant Ya’acov; and they shall dwell therein forever – they and their children, and their children’s children. … and I will establish them and multiply them and will set My Sanctuary in the midst of them (amongst, within them) for ever. My Dwelling Place also shall be over them, and I will be their God and they shall be My People. And the nations shall know that I am HaShem that sanctifies (makes Holy, bring into His Likeness) Israel (all 12 tribes) when My Sanctuary shall be in the midst of them forever.”
