Shalom,
Genesis 12:1 “HaShem said to Abram, “Leave (‘Lech Lecha’ – get yourself going from) your country, your birthplace, and the house of your father, and go to the land to which I will lead you.”
This, in just our 3rd weekly Reading (Parashah) from the Bible – after Bereisheet (the Creation of Man in His Image), and Noach (the destruction of the first Creation after it regretted God that He had made Man, for mankind’s depravity).
Mankind started a new chapter from the decendancy of Noach – but, once again, their self-interested cravings in building the Tower of Bavel called for Divine Intervention by spreading them across the Globe with strange languages to break their advancing power in the wrong direction.
Then suddenly Avraham appears out of nowhere. He wins the trust of the Creator through his rejection of the idols of mankind of his time and his proclamation of the One True God of Creation. Avraham’s Journey was destined to affect all the World. But, the World is against Avraham. Yet, in the End, God will be King to rule over the entire World through His elected People – His Mishkan – a Living Temple for God to dwell in amongst His People.
In Lech Lecha God defines the genealogical “Body” through whom He would refine a Ruling Authority over mankind. Avraham is promised that the multiplicity of his physical descendants would establish him as a father of many nations, or “hamon goyim”. This term is also found in verse 5, and literally means a noisy multitude of Gentile nations.
Here, in just the 3rd section of the annual Jewish Reading Cycle of the Bible, we encounter the foundational pillars of the entire Kingdom Message of the Bible – its Main Theme: The Restoration of the full 12-Tribed House of Israel, also termed “The Redemption” (Geulah). Through this Body of people, God would rule over the world of the future.
Lech Lecha, as for Avraham, holds a bold Awakening call for God’s People. “Go out! Leave your country, your birthplace, and the house (customs) of your father, and go to the land to which I will lead you.”
Can this be a Call also for traditional Jewish Israel today? For a Return not only of the 15 million Jews World wide, but also for the multi millions (10/12ths of the ancient 12-Tribed nation of Israel).
If so indeed, then surely for establishing a Renewed, revitalized format of the Divinely intended, restored, and re-united 12-Tribed Torah Covenanted Israel. This was the Divine Intent from the start – as for Avraham.
Sadly, we have an Israel today which has become stagnated in a culture of our great Jewish Sages of a thousand years ago. They have formulated a finely designed form of Torah worship down to the minutest details. Unquestionable. Unalterable. No renewal required – ever! Torah wisdom and Truth are determined by quoting from these Sages and their writings – not from the Word of God (no matter that the Sages often differ and contradict each other!). No opportunity or need for advanced realizations, no matter how erudite the conveyer may be, or how Scripturally based the further light may be. It has all been perfected 1000 years ago and practiced since.
Had there ben a Trendsetting Sage generation today, there might have been a hope for fulfilling the Greatest Event defined by our Prophets who proclaimed the Ultimate Divine Plan – namely a Restored and re-united, reconciled 12-Tribed Kingdom of the exiles of BOTH Houses of Israel (Judah and the 10-Tribed House of Israel), reconciled into ONE Torah abiding Nation. What we do have rather, is a finely detailed Jewish worship system with no space for accommodating a Lech Lecha proclamation to the exiles of all 12 Tribes, on which the Final Geulah is dependant.
WILL Judah hear this Call – Lech Lechah – and share it also with the multi millions of yet exiled Ten Tribers across the World?
Torah wisdom and Truth are determined by quoting from these Sages and their writings – not from the Word of God (no matter that the Sages often differ and contradict each other!).

Out Haftarah this week presents the introductory chapters of Isaiah’s 20-chapter forecast of the formation of HaShem’s Anointed Body of souls who will awaken to the Lech Lecha Call – that is the formation of ‘His Servant’. This Servant, it now transpires, will be that Mysterious Prophetic Body that our Sages have formulated to be “The Mashiach”’ – however, it will be totally different from the concept that so tragically divides Judaism and Christianity today. It is in these two popular Main Faith Streams of the World that the major sectors of the exiles of the 2 Houses of Israel are housed. It is here where the major Reconciliation in the 2700 year Family Feud has to occur. As the creation of mankind is approaching the end of the 6th Day (Millennium), this may well be the sounds of the Final Call for Lech Lecha being made in order to establish the New World Dispensation to inaugurate the Shabbat Millennium.
This Call is a call away from the original country, birthplace, and Father’s culture that has stagnated and hence is preventing the formulating of the restored and re-united Kingdom; the reconciliation of the 2700 year Family Feud within 2-Housed Israel. Lech Lecha admonishes us to come away from this culture – to the ‘Land’ that HaShem is leading us to, where we will be reunited and become His Living Temple in which His Shechinah (Presence) will dwell amongst His People to rule over the Nations in His Renewed Kingdom.
Isaiah 41: 8 “But thou, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham My friend;
9 Thou whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the uttermost parts thereof, and said unto thee: ‘Thou art My Servant, I have chosen thee and not cast thee away’;
.10 Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I strengthen thee, yea, I help thee; yea, I uphold thee with My victorious Right Hand.”
