Fine-tuning the Intimate Love Relationship between the Creator and His Beloved

Parashat Pekudei ends with the cloud of Hashem’s glory settling on the Mishkan (Tabernacle for God to live in amongst His People). This is the conclusion of the stories of Mt. Sinai, the construction of the Mishkan, and the golden calf. All three stories involve an attempt of bringing Hashem into the world, and a comparison of the three can teach us an important insight.
