What is the Ultimate Plea of HaShem?
This week’s Parashah (Bible Reading Program section) brings a timely and very enlightening response – if we will simply take heed.
Jacob, on his trip in the Bethel mountains, meets with … hold on tightly! … the Hebrew Scriptures clearly state “HaShem”, but we will settle for the common interpretation of ‘an Angel’, or just ‘The Voice of God in a dream, so as not to overturn the boat before we even consider the awesome Message of this portion.’

The same Blessing as to his grandfather Avraham, defining his descendants to become spread across the Earth, innumerable as the dust of the Earth!

This Blessing is also several times repeated to the other Patriarchs of His Nation. Some of these Scriptures define the recipients of this Blessing to include ‘the Goyim’ (other nations) – as our research of the Hebrew Scriptures and 50 English translation versions confirm in our article “The Blessing of Abraham”.
