This week’s Bible Reading (Parashat Vayaqhel), while one of the ‘dryest’ readings comprising 3 chapters (Ex. 35 – 38) it may well hold the most meaningful directives for us in this World gone crazy today. It contains a multitude of technical details regarding the structure of the Tabernacle to be built. Intriguingly it is named ‘and he gathered’ (‘Vayaqhel’).- which hints at the current regathering of the exiles of Israel from amongst all nations.

Since the re-establishment of the Land of Jewish Israel in 1948 It has become clearly evident that the ‘regathering of the Exiles of Israel’ has begun - though many Bible commentators are still blissfully ignorant of the real Divine implications that this holds for mankind in general and for ‘God’s People’ in particular.
|
Please bear in mind, with the reading of this week’s Parashah, that the Main Purpose of God is the establishment of His Universal Kingdom Rule, based in Jerusalem, Israel. For this Purpose, there has to be a Jerusalem linked to God’s Covenantal people. This required the re-erection of Jewish Israel after 2000 years of exile – which required the ‘re-gathering’ of the exiles (הִתקַהֲלוּת – hitkaylut, root ק-ה-ל, as in the Parashah's name this week; syn. Congregation). It required 2 World Wars o re-erect Jewish Israel after 2000 years of exile (i.e. after 2,750 yrs. if the exiles of the Lost House of 10-Israel is included):

- WW! To bring about the Balfour Declaration (1917) which approved the establishment of a Homeland for Jews on their ancient territory;
- WW2 to drive Jewish survivors of Hitler’s Death Camps back to their re-established Homeland – leading to the establishment of the re-born Jewish State in 1948.
It will require another 3rd and Final War to establish the Kingdom of the God of Israel ruling over the nations. Such a War is now looming larger than ever with Iran being weeks away from perfecting their nuclear bomb which they destine for Israel. And Iran is in bed with Russia - with Russian airplanes on the border of Israel and Syria and war ships off Lebanon.. The Hebrew Scriptures (O.T., Tanach) predict such a War, launched on Jerusalem by all Nations, which will be so fierce that it will require the Personal Intervention of God in order to save Israel from total annihilation (Ref. Zech. 12, 14; Ezek. 38, 39 & Joel 2). These Prophecies clearly refer to a nuclear War.

Where does this week’s Parashah Vayaqhel Message fit in?
|
This week’s Reading from 3 chapters in Exodus (35-38) in its totality deals with Moses’s accentuating of two main issues mainly to his nation exiting Egypt and on their way to the Promised Land - a metaphor for the looming 2nd Exodus (Jwer. 16:14) by re-awakening 10-Israel from their exile amongst the nations across the World. The 2 issues that Moses highlights are:

- The Shabbat, and
- Building of the Tabernacle.
Regarding the latter, we wish to emphasize our current understanding of this Tabernacle (Temple): Our several recent commentaries via this Newsletter have accentuated the hither-to concealed nature of this Tabernacle as follows:

- To serve as a living Temple for God to ‘live amongst His People’;
- To house His Kingdom Rule over the nations in the coming Shabbat (7th) millennium;
A mind-blowing Calling – if only we could realize it – READ! Just as Moses emphasized this Calling to the Nation for Building the Tabernacle for God to dwell amongst them, so, today, as we are facing the Final Stretch of the Way Home, it is vital that we prepare for and participate in the erection of this Eternal Temple for Him to dwell amongst us. This spot along the Way out of Egypt and towards the Promised Land that Moses and the nation were drawn serves as a metaphor of where we are at this Time of Regathering (Hitkayhel). Over the last few decades, the Divine Call has been heard, calling the exiles out from among the nations (spiritual ‘Egypt’). Many have observed the Call and have left Egypt – they now find themselves in the Wilderness without a leader – their leader has temporarily deserted them; they need to enter the Land but have been called to prepare for and erect the Tabernacle – this time, their own bodies and souls to serve as a Temple for God to live in and rule over the nations!

May these messages assist in promoting the Unity to advance and proceed the Final Redemption (Geulah} – the Time Period of which it seems that we are now entering towards the end of this 6th Millennium – the Time of Trouble, birth pangs of the Shabbat Millennium with all its Blessings …
