Parashat Va’etchannan this week reviews the entire structure and Divine Requirements for the Divine Plan for humanity. It includes a repetition of the Ten Commandments and the verses of the Shema, which declare the fundamentals of the Jewish Faith: the Unity of God (“Hear O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one” Tefillin); it stresses the importance of the underlying Statutes, Ordinances, and Laws for those souls who love God, with the suggestion to bind “these words” as Tefillin on our arms and heads and inscribe them in the Mezuzot affixed on the doorposts of our homes.

It serves as a summary of the Divine Requirements for those souls whom He has covenanted or for anyone else who wishes to be a citizen of His Kingdom. It applied to the ancient Israelites who were enslaved in Egypt, to bring them to the Land which God had promised to Avraham and the Patriarchs, and it, therefore, serves as a Summary of the Divine Requirements for those whom He is calling back from the Exile to the Land to become citizens of His looming Universal Kingdom. Bear in mind that they have been exiled for failing to follow His Torah and for rejecting His mandated Justice Arm, the spiritual leaders and teachers of Judah,

Be sure to read thru the entire Parashat Va’etchanan section from Deut. ch. 3;23 to ch. 7:11. It serves as a great refresher Reminder and should leave no doubts as to what it entails to become a citizen of His Kingdom. The Divine Invitation is open to all humanity – but, especially, with His Love Note and Call for Lost souls of the House of Israel (the10 Tribes exiled into oblivion 2750 years ago) and to the Lost Child of Judah (Jewish souls who have lost their Jewish identity through their exile amongst the nations for the last 2000 years).

The Promised Blessing that rattles even the devoted followers of the God of Israel

Now, for the astounding Blessing underlying the entire Divine Plan, turn to the Haftarah Va’etchanan. It falls together this week with the Remembrance Day of Tishah B’Av, The Divine Promise featured in this Haftarah truly holds a great Message of comfort for His people who commemorate the awesome historic events which took place on this day. On the same date, some five centuries apart, the Temple was destroyed in Jerusalem, leading to the subsequent exile of the Jewish nation from Jerusalem and the Land. Refer to a comprehensive List of Horrors that befell God’s People on this date throughout history.

A Divine Promise of Restoration, however, underlies these awesome events. And this Haftarah, falling in the same week of remembrance this year, emphasizes this Promise. It poses a Challenge also, to amplify the Divine Consolation for this day - A challenge to the popular interpretations by both Judaism and Christianity. Judaism teaches that “No one can see God and live,” while Christianity presents “another God,” more important, they claim, than the God Whom Jews worship … the “Son of God,” they claim, will come to rule In The Universal Kingdom.

Following here is an extract from this chapter that says it all. It should leave no doubts, but serve as a challenge to the religious cultural teachings that have been established over time by both sides:

Isaiah 40:1Comfort ye, comfort ye My people, saith your God. 2 Bid Jerusalem take heart, and proclaim unto her, that her time of service is accomplished, that her guilt is paid off; that she hath received of HaShem's Hand double for all her sins. 3 Hark! One calleth: 'Clear ye in the wilderness the way of HaShem make plain in the desert a highway for our God. 5 And the Gory of HaShem shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the Mouth of HaShem hath spoken it. 10. Behold, HaShem GOD will come as a Mighty One, and His arm will rule for Him."

Such a Divine Appearance is foretold all over Prophetic Scripture, e.g.
Zech. 14:1 "Behold, a day of HaShem cometh ... 2 For I [HaShem speaking] will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; ... 3 Then shall HaShem go forth, and fight against those nations, ... 4 And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall be cleft in the midst thereof toward the East and toward the West ... 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; ... and HaShem my God shall come, and all the holy ones with Thee."

Does this really need interpretation? Does it require a theological degree to comprehend? Does Scripture by the Mouth of God really mean what it says?

May these messages assist in promoting the Unity to advance and proceed to the Final Redemption (Geulah} – the Time Period of which it seems that we are now entering towards the end of this 6th Millennium – the Time of Trouble, birth pangs of the Shabbat Millennium with all its Blessings …
