On 26 May 2023 we are celebrating the Biblical festival of Shavuot. It is the 2nd (middle) of 3 Main Feasts.
|
The 1st – Pesach – depicts the Calling of and the exit of God’s People from their imprisonment in spiritual ‘Egypt’ (lifestyle contrary to the creator’s Will) to progress and move onto and into the Promised Land (The Kingdom of the Creator).
|
The 3rd – Succot – depicts the Restoration and Redemption of God’s People after their exile from the Promised Land - the Royal Marriage with His Eternal Bride (Restored and Redeemed Nation of Israel) and the establishment of His Universal Kingdom.
|
So, what does the Middle Festival, Shavuot depict in this wider observation?
|
Surely, a re-confirmattion of the Marriage Terms. This was first established at Mt Sinai at this very time of Shavuot, 50 days after their exit from Egypt. Then followed their troublesome but purifying experience in the Wilderness for 40 yrs before being admitted into the Promised Land. They screwed up in the Promised Land, even after having been raised to a World Empire under the rule of King David and Solomon. So, God exiled them, even divorced part of the Israel Kingdom (10-tribed House of Israel). These exiles of eventually the entire Nation were stretched over almost 3000 years right up to this current Time.

Now we are standing before the Climax of the Ages – the Final Redemption – the Re-marriage, for the Creator made an eternal Promise:

“Shavuot also means 'oaths', for on this day G‑d swore eternal devotion to us, and we in turn pledged everlasting loyalty to Him.” Chabad.org defines Shavuot.

Conditional Return or “Freeby”
|
If Jer. Ch 3 speaks of a Divorce of the “Harlot Bride" (10-Israel), and if even the “Judah-Bride” was ejected from the Promised Land (not divorced) for their failure of complying with the Creator’s Will (Torah), is it then conceivable that the Bride could return without her returning to the terms of the Marriage – which were constituted at Sinai on Shavuot?

This is the prime factor also which obstructs the reconciliation of the two gravely divided Houses of Israel:

- On the divorced 10-Israel side, that they generally resist returning to or subjecting to the Torah Mechoqeck Rule of Judah. Wider Christianity even declares a total “freeby” from “Jewish Torah restrictions” under their NT dispensation!
- Judah again, palms off any well-meaning Torah subjecting Returnee ‘Ephraimite’ to a totally Torah-less “Noahide Covenant” while HaShem wants them to be re-covenanted!

Onto this stage now, at this Time of approaching Final Redemption, enters a fearful scenario:

Total Deception - Misleading of well-meaning souls from BOTH sides, by presenting them with misleading Options, i.e. attractive options of “achieving Unity and fulfillment of reconciliation between the two divided Factions of HaShem’s Nation" without returning to the Will of the Creator as defined in the Marriage contract concluded at Sinai on Shavuot.

There is a nascent New Sanhedrin in the making in Jerusalem which is gearing up to present the opportunity for “Reawakening Ephraim” to return and “unite “ with Judah. Returnees though, will be acknowledged as “Ultra orthodox Noahides” who only need to observe the “7 Noahide Laws”. Thus, no need to re-covenant as the Returning Bride of HaShem. No need to observe Torah – yet, acknowledged as “citizens”.
