The year 1948 saw the rebirth of the State of Jewish Israel after some 2000 years of exile from the Land and universal persecution for their Torah faith. Our weekly Parshah this week (9 Oct. 2021), Parashat Noah, commemorates and depicts such a New World Order in the making, spread over several decades (like the dawning into a new day). In merely 70 years, reborn Israel has been establishing itself amongst the Top 10 Nations on many levels.

80 years ago! Millions of Jews were taken to slaughter like sheep by Hitler while the World looked on silently.
|
• Only 70 years ago, crawling back from the slaughter houses of Europe and the World, the remnant Jews re-claimed a Jewish State on their ancient Homeland, Israel, from which they had been exiled 2000 years ago. The re-born State of Israel was declared in 1948 by the remnant descendants of a once Great World Empire of King Solomon!

A first such national rebirth of a kingdom in history!
|
|
• 55 years ago! - Seven Arab countries declared war on the small reborn Jewish state!
|
|
Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia all attacked at the same time from every direction on all our borders. In what World renown Military experts define as a 6-Day Miracle War with no equal in history, Israel beat them on every front surrounding little Israel!
|
|
• The country that the United Nations gave us 70 years ago was a 65 % desert.
|
|
Today, over just the last 70 years, we have developed from those dessert areas:
|
|
• a Powerful advanced Air Force,
|
|
• A State-of-the-Art Economy with exports worth billions of dollars.
|
|
• One of the strongest currencies in the World.
|
|
• Intel - Microsoft - IBM & many high-tech companies develop cutting edge products in Israel
|
|
• Our doctors receive awards for medical research.
|
|
• We make the desert bloom and sell oranges, flowers, and vegetables all over the world.
|
|
• Israel has sent its own satellites into space!
|
|
• three satellites at the same time!
|
|
• We are proud to be at the same rank as:
|
|
• The United States, which has 250 million inhabitants, compared with our less than 10 million!
|
|
• Russia, which has 200 million inhabitants,
|
|
• China, which has 1.3 billion inhabitants;
|
|
• Europeans - France, Great Britain, Germany - with 350 million inhabitants.
|
|
• The only countries in the world to send objects into space!
|
|
and say that only 80 years ago,
|
|
• We were led, ashamed and hopeless, to slaughter!
|
|
• We have experienced the smoking ruins of Europe,
|
|
• We have won our wars here in Israel with less than nothing
|
|
• We built our little "Empire" from nothing.
|
• In just 70 years Israel has joined the ranks of the Top 10 Nations of the World, ranking as #1 on several platforms of the highest technical and scientific order!
|
|
Let's not forget what Passover is:
|
|
• We survived the Greeks,
|
|
• We survived the Romans,
|
|
• We survived the inquisition in Spain,
|
|
• We survived the pogroms in Russia,
|
|
• We survived the Germans,
|
|
• We survived the Holocaust,
|
|
• We survived the armies of seven Arab countries,
|
|
• We survived Saddam Hussein
|
• We will survive the enemies now threatening us with nuclear wipe-out for we have the Divine Promise that in the Final cataclysmic War of Wars, Gog Magog (Armageddon}, God will Personally fight on Israel's side (Zech. 14:3).
|
|
Think of any time in human history.
|
|
• Great nations, empires and cultures
|
|
• Who once tried to destroy us,
|
|
• No longer exist today - while we still live!
|
|
• Alexander of Macedonia?
|
|
• The Romans? (does anyone still speak Latin these days? )
|
|
And look at Israel today:
|
|
• The Nation of the Bible,
|
|
• We are still here, And Hebrew is still the official language of the State of Israel today:
|
|
• From the time of the Bible and now!
|
|
• The nations will learn that there is a God of Israel.
|
• As long as we cling to Him, we are forever.
|
|
So forgive us for not worrying,
|
|
• They could certainly get better,
|
|
• Don't believe the media,
|
|
• They don't tell you any good things about Israel
|
|
• Celebrations continue to take place in Israel,
|
|
• People continue to live,
|
|
• People keep coming out,
|
• People continue to see friends.
|
Some claim our morals are low.
|
• So what? We keep trying to be faithful to Him - to the God of Israel Who created the Heavens and the Earth.
|
The Guardian of Israel never slumbers or sleeps!
|
Now, we are looking forward to the establishment of the Universal Kingdom of the God of Israel, ruling from Jerusalem over the Nations in a Kingdom of Peace!
|
